Heat a table spoon of oil in a pan and add the bottle gourd pieces, quarter tea spoon of salt and turmeric. Cook till the bottle gourd are soft but not mushy. Peel and grate lauki/sorakaya/bottle gourd and keep it aside. Chop onion, green chillies, curry leaves and coriander leaves.

Instructions to make Bottle gourd lauki shallow fry:
  1. Phee and cut the round slice. (Not thin slice).
  2. Take bowl, add Turmeric powder, black salt, piri piri masala, jeera masala and pepper powder, and mix nicely. Spicy mix ready.
  3. Heat the thawa, place lauki slice. And pour little ghee and sprinkle spicy mix and fry one minutes, next another sids. Add ghee, spicy mix. Shallow Fry both sides.. serve hot.
