  5. Prepare 1/4 cup ghee
  6. Take 21/2 cups hot water

Instructions to make Fada/Dalia ni Lapsi:
  1. Heat the ghee in a non stick kadhai and add dalia sauté on a slow flame for 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Or till it turns golden brown colour, while stirring continuously.
  3. Add hot water and mix well and cook on a high flame till the water starts boiling.
  4. Partly cover and cook on a medium heat for 15 minutes or till the broken wheat is almost done.
  5. When all most of the water has evaporated add the sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.
  6. Cook on a slow flame for 5 to 7 minutes or till the ghee separates while stirrings continuously.
  7. Add nuts (almonds, cashwnut, pistachio, kishmish) and mix well.
  8. Switch off the flame. Now lapsi is ready to serve.
