- Prepare 1 cup Roasted makhana
- Prepare 1/2 cup matar

- Prepare 1/4 tbs turmeric powder
- Prepare 1/4 tbs coriander powder
- Get 1 tbs oil
- Prepare 1/2 cup fresh cream
- Make ready 1 tbs kasoori meethi optional
- Get Salt as per taste
A rich and tasty Punjabi curry made with peas, fox nuts and khoya/evaporated milk. Twice, I added the khoya to make mawa cake. Makhana matar masala is a creamy curry where puffed lotus seeds and peas are cooked in a creamy tomato gravy with blend of spices. Steps to make Makhana matar:
- Collect all ingredients, fry peas in slow falme add 1/4tbsoil, roast makhana in low falme, make fine paste of tomatoes and onion
- Heat a pan, add oil, put cumin seed, cracle it, add ginger garlic paste and onion and tomatoes paste, cook till become oil from it, now add tumeric, red chilli powder, and coriander powder in it, roaste it now add matar, saute it, add cream, stir continuously, when boiling start add makhana and cook 2 min, add salt, garnish with grern coriander serve hot
- Add crush kasoori meethi in it when add makhana in it, enhance the taste 🤗🤗
