- Make ready 1/2tsp turmeric powder
- Get 1/2tsp garam masala
- Prepare 1/2tsp salt
- Prepare 1/2tsp sugar
Malai Matar makhana sabji is a mild Indian curry recipe from Mughlai cuisine. Makhana also known as fox nuts or lotus seed is cooked along with peas in a creamy rich Mughlai gravy. Trust me with a side of tandoori roti or butter Naan this tastes amazing. A rich and tasty Punjabi curry made with peas, fox nuts and khoya/evaporated milk.
Steps to make Peas Fox nuts Curry:
- Chopped all mentioned ingredients
- Now in a pan heat up oil and butter
- Add garlic,ginger,chilli and saute for 1 minute
- Now add onion and cook for 1 minute
- Add chopped tomato and cook till soften
- Now add curd and cook
- Now add mava and fresh cream
- Add all spices
- Now add peas and foxnuts
- Cook for 5 minutes
- Now add 2 tsp water and cook it again
- Serve with Rice and Chapati
