Instructions to make steak and cracked pepper pie:
- preheat oven to 180°F
- add a little olive oil into a saucepan and brown the shredded steak with a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp cracked pepper.
- add the tomato paste, stock and bbq sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes
- add chilli capsicum, onion and mushroom
- prepare pie tins with short crust pastry
- add the steak mixture to the pie
- cover the pie with puff pastry and brush with butter
- cook in oven for 20 minutes
