- Get 1 cup water or 250 ml
- Prepare For the syrup:
- Take 2 cups sugar or 400 g
- Make ready 1 1/2 cups water or 375 ml
- Take 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Prepare 1 tablespoon rose water
- Make ready 2 tablespoons ground almonds

Bake in a 190°C preheated oven for 35 minutes or until top is golden. - - Remove from oven and pour all over the cooled syrup. Place in fridge to cool completely, cut & serve. - - For syrup: - Add sugar and water to a saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer for 6-8 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, rosewater
