- For making dough. Mix Maida, Rava, salt, ghee, sugar in a bowl. make a smooth dough by adding water.. cover it with a cloth for some time.
- For making stuffing. In a pan add ghee, and coconut powder and dry fruits.. mix well for some time. Add Jaggery and mix well. After jaggery mixed completely, put off the flame and let the mixture to cool down, add cardamom powder
- In a mould add maida doughs and stuff the coconut jaggery stuffing. cover the mould properly.
- Deep fry the modak. You can keep them light brown also. I fried them bit dark brown in colour.
