Fresh yam pieces in a thick aromatic porridge sauce and finished off with some fresh green spring onions is what this recipe stands for.

- Peal your yam and slice it to then wash and set aside.
- Place a pot on fire, add your oil, heat a little. Add your diced onion and then your diced or roughly blended tomatoes and pepper. Fry for about 10 to 15mins
- Add your desired water, seasoning cube, diced kpomo,fish and salt. Then add your yam, stir together and cover to cook till tender.
- Add your crayfish and mash. Then lastly add your vegetable and stir together
- Your delicious yam pottage is ready.. Serve hot with any soft drink of your choice
