- In a large bowl take 1 cup rava,curd and salt.Mix well making sure the curd is combined well.
- Adding water as required. Cover and keep aside to ferment for 20-25 minutes.Check for consistency adding more water if required.
- For toppings:In a bowl or plate take onion, capsicum, carrot and tomato.also, add ginger, chilli, ¼ tsp salt and black pepper.Mix well making sure everything is well combined.Topping is ready.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, pour a ladleful of batter and spread it in circular motion to make a thin uttapam.
- Top with a tbsp of prepared toppings and press gently.Using little oil around the uttapam. - cover and cook for a minute or until the base is cooked well.
- Cook from one side, turn over and cook from the other side.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.
