- Take 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- Take 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
- Prepare 1/4 cup gram flour (بیسن)
- Prepare 2 tsp cornflour
- Take 1 spring onion (ہرا پیاز) finely chopped
- Prepare 2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander
- Get 1 finely chopped green chilli
- Prepare as needed Oil for frying
Gobhi Szechuan can also be served as an appetizer, simply omit the gravy if that's what you would like to do. Serve this tasty vegetarian dish with fried rice Now add the previously fried cauliflower florets and the chopped bell pepper to this gravy. Instructions to make Cauliflower balls: (Gobhi ke Kofte):
- Wash cauliflower florets and dry well. - Grate cauliflower florets in a bowl and add all ingredients then mix well. Do not add any water because cauliflower has lots of their own water so mix well until it becomes like a soft dough. - Grease your hands with oil and make 12 equal sized balls then set a side.
- Take a nonstick pan, add oil and shallow fry all balls till nice and golden brown on all sides. Fry cauliflowers balls in batches. - Take them out on kitchen paper towel to wipe off excess oil. - Serve with salad and your favourite dip. - Enjoy !
